From Grassroots Governance to a Wider Public Role in Cortalim
Over the years, I have served as Panch Member, Deputy Sarpanch and Sarpanch of Sancoale Panchayat. In 2022, I contested the Goa Legislative Assembly Election from Cortalim as an Independent candidate and secured 4,251 votes.
A Journey Rooted in Public Service
Nearly Two Decades of Grassroots Engagement
My journey in public life began in 2007 through local governance in Sancoale. Since then, my work has included Panchayat administration, public issue advocacy, community engagement and participation in development-related initiatives.
Serving as Panch Member, Deputy Sarpanch and Sarpanch gave me the opportunity to work directly with residents and understand local issues at the ground level. That experience continues to shape the way I look at the development of Cortalim.
